 The Actuarial profession continues to grow and expand, Actuaries are still in short supply around the world. As the world expands into new territories such as Artificial Intelligence the demand for insurance and protection will only increase due to society being exposed to new risks. Our specialist Actuarial division works across; Non-Life, Life and Health, whilst collaborating and complimenting the Pension/Investment Actuarial roles undertaken by the Pension & Benefits Division.

Job description

Experience needed



Location: Toronto (Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office, or less if needed)

Salary: CAD $105,000-$155,000 + bonus


The role is with a data analytics company who are making a real difference and having a positive impact on the financial services industry. They're looking for people from either an actuarial or data science background to join their fast-growing longevity team due to their high year-on-year growth.

As an Analyst/Senior Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Structuring and developing models for longevity analytics.
  • Undertaking longevity research and analytics.
  • Presentation of research and analytics findings to both internal teams and clients.
  • Ability to publish your results, analysis and findings.


What they're looking for:

  • Open to candidates from an actuarial, data science and/or research background.
  • Junior and Senior roles available - 2-15 years of experience.
  • R Programming skills (Essential).
  • Longevity/demography/mortality/morbidity experience (Desirable).
