Experience needed


Key Duties:

  • Developing commercial reinsurance relationships with their portfolio of clients, including risk costing and pricing
  • Applying technical knowledge to identify and match client needs to their full suite of reinsurance solutions
  • Marketing new solutions to build deeper commercial relationships with their clients
  • Differentiating the company’s value proposition from its competitors to deliver true value to your clients
  • Building long-standing relationships spanning the organisational structures of your clients that are built on trust and credibility
  • Setting reinsurance strategy for each client and managing the go-to-market approach of the cross functional team
  • Diligent ownership of internal governance processes, ensuring their high standards for compliance are maintained
  • Supporting brand promotion activities and becoming a highly visible member of the sales team externally and internally

Qualifications required:

  • You are a qualified actuary (FIA/FFA/FSA or equivalent) with several years’ post qualified experience. Ideally you have reinsurance protection pricing experience

Experience required:

  • You are familiar with the UK protection market with expert knowledge of protection products and propositions
  • You can demonstrate a track record in sales or client management/consultancy
  • You bring excellent understanding of the commercial and risk characteristics of L&H protection products
  • You have an appetite for a multi-dimensional, client facing role that combines sales focus with a strong technical underpin
  • You are ambitious with a passion for developing and executing deals and transactions
  • You can assimilate information from a variety of sources and apply your own experience to make sound judgements and decisions
