Experience needed



The award-winning Insurtech is looking for an experienced Pricing Analyst to join their Product Team to lead the creation and management of Pet Insurance products.

Whilst there are some pricing processes in place today, and the role will need to maintain a strong relationship with our underwriters, this is a greenfield opportunity to shape a pricing function from the ground up within a progressive, data-driven business.

This is a dynamic and collaborative role where you will be responsible for:

  • Take ownership of existing pricing foundations conducted
  • Build on this to create transparent reporting and a fact base on pricing metrics
  • Own pricing and optimisation approach, and as a result the pricing perspective on actions to improve key metrics in all channels
  • Take ownership of existing pricing models, methodologies and approaches
  • Be a hands-on owner and build or adjust and develop models that optimise our approaches to new business and renewal pricing, customer lifetime value and NPS
  • Ensure automation within these models, their data and the pricing function more broadly
  • Get your hands dirty in the technical development and deployment of models
  • Identify direction for the pricing function to add further commercial and customer value in the future
  • Ensure this direction contributes to our innovative brand in the industry – setting our pricing approach apart from the market in a way to benefit both consumers and underwriters alike
  • Continually execute a roadmap of tools, team and systems to deliver this – creating and growing a team, its resources and responsibilities as business cases demand it
