Job description

Experience needed


Reporting to the Global Head of General Insurance you will operate in a truly global capacity, by supporting the development of the General Insurance business, helping to achieve business growth. This role offers exposure across functions, such as support of sales, implementation, design and development processes.


Key responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales; working closely with the global Sales team and prospects to provide technical support
  • Solution Design; Contributing to the product road map design and strategy
  • Client Relationship Management; understanding and focusing on clients’ needs
  • Development; You will be become an industry expert within Prophet Development
  • Professional Services; Acting as Lead Consultant during the implementation phase, communicating effectively at both senior stakeholder level and with end users

Qualifications required:

  • A qualified Actuary (or equivalent experience), with a specialism in General Insurance

Experience required:

  • Capital Modelling, Pricing & Reserving knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products (desirable)
  • Experience working on technology implementation projects, either in-house or in a vendor/consultancy environment (desirable)
  • Experience working on international projects (desirable)


Other requirements:

  • Skilled at senior stakeholder management
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Creative and pragmatic problem-solving skills with a proven track record of efficient, effective and successful implementation
  • General business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
  • Pro-active attitude and desire to drive the business forward with the capacity for a high degree of independent work and judgment
